PROJECT OBJECTIVE: For the final project, I was assigned the 48th Telluride Film Festival and created this poster to promote both the festival and the town of Telluride, Colorado. The composition centers around a film leader, integrating the town and its people. My favorite part of this piece was individually pen-tooling each character and crafting scenes between the buildings. Editing the photos and applying grain effects helped unify the visuals to best depict Telluride through a cinematic lens. By pairing playful elements like the scenes and the birds as well as the photo with classic a design, the poster captures the balance of creativity and tradition, reflecting the town’s rich storytelling history and the festival’s reputation for showcasing world-class films.
